Nora's first birthday party

We had Nora's first birthday party at the park where I had my first birthday. We had a picnic then went back to grandma Bromley's house for cake.

I have pictures of me at 1 year in my pink birthday dress swinging at this park... so we had to do it for Nora. 

She got a lot of help with her presents from Owen. ;)

Not a fan.... she didn't know why we were all singing at her and waiting for her to smash her cake.

Owen was the same way at his first birthday party... my kids don't like to get dirty. :)

We tried again later on at home with some of her birthday cupcakes.

She ended up eating this cupcake pretty unwillingly with only one finger at a time.
