Memorial Day Big Sur campout!

Every Memorial Day weekend Matt's home ward (and most of the stake) goes to Big Sur to camp. We decided to go along this year since both of our families would be there. We were not quite prepared for how chilly it was, but we had fun anyway.

This is the first time we have ever camped with a baby, so we had to figure out how to keep her warm at night (not to mention how to keep her from getting up and crawling around the tent).

She stayed warm all night long (unlike Matt and me) and was a happy girl in the morning!

On the last morning before we left, I realized that we hadn't taken a family camping picture. This was the result... we all look suuuuper tired. Maybe we should take a picture first next time. :)

Waiting to go in the auditorium at the Interstake Center for my latest concert.

In our concert we played Tchaikovsky's 1st piano concerto, Holst's Jupiter and Mars, and finished off with a Star Wars medley, complete with a light saber performance. We got to see these guys up close after the concert. I thought Owen would LOVE this, but he was truly terrified. It was like pulling teeth to get that kid to take any pictures.

He didn't even want to light saber fight Nora.

He was totally done.
